First Grade

Crayons and paper all we need.
Scribbles is all we know.
Barely reaching the table.
Here's my greeting from below.

Laughs and games.
Giggling all day.
Never knew a dilemma,
While we would play.

Friends were in plenty,
As happiness was in many.
Easily amused.
We'd even laugh at a penny.

Oh what fun we had,
As a young little pup.
Memories now forgotten,
Because we've moved up.
