Creating Life

I tried to be what you wanted.
But it didn't come naturally.
Sorrow became my friend.
Life is my creation.
Choosing pain just to feel.

Seeing now how to live.
Guiding me to shine the light.
I now create joy.
Though naturally it doesn't come.
It's still here.
